who are you and why are you in my computer????

hello! I'm nellie. Please don't panic, I am not here to collect your data. I'm a zinemaker/artist/designer from melbourne. this is my funky little web cave where I am storing my personal zine projects. It's also an archive for my free perzine, WWW. I was putting up digital versions of it on substack, but this format just has a little more whimsy, y'know? Plus, substack is for intellecktchewals with degrees in english and coherent thoughts. I am Just a Guy.

alright, who really are you?

well, that's a diffcult question. I'm whoever you think I am, probably. Or alternatively, I am an autistic twenty-something from the eastern suburbs of melbourne, victoria. I am a big gunzel/railfan (really breaking those autistic stereotypes there) I am also a partial music snob and a reader of books. Not specifically literary ones, not specifically genre ones either. I am a noodle enthusiast and an obsessive wikipedia scroller. I'm also kind of a civics nerd as well? Without giving you my blood type and genetic details, that's probably as good as it gets.

so what's the deal with this newfangled website idea?

why thank you, theoretical reader. I am glad that I imagined you asking this question. I am what you could call a person with an overactive imagination and a severe lack of impulse control. Simply put, the idea of creating a web 1.0 style website captured my imagination and I simply had to spend a day tinkering in neocities. I can only learn new skills if I have a project, so this is my motivator to learn how to code. Expect some totes radical experiments here with Javascript (hopefully).
